  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce Adjust to taste for desired spiciness
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Mix with water to avoid lumps
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For sautéing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving Optional, for serving

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until just tender.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, chili sauce, and cornstarch with a bit of water to create a sauce.
  • Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir well, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For a savory stir-fry with meat, consider adding chicken or beef. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 3 days.
