Ingredients
  

For the Kofta

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 pieces Wooden skewers (soaked in water) Soak for at least 30 minutes.

For the Tahini Sauce

  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Water to thin (if necessary)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into elongated patties or balls and thread them onto the soaked wooden skewers.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan on medium-high heat.
  • Grill the koftas for about 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.

Making Tahini Sauce

  • While the koftas are cooking, prepare the tahini sauce by whisking together tahini, lemon juice, salt, and water until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency with more water if necessary.

Serving

  • Serve the cooked koftas hot with the tahini sauce drizzled over the top.
