Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets Use fresh or frozen, thawed and drained.
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Stir into the mix to melt evenly.
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken or homemade white sauce.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional) For added crunch on top.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together broccoli, cooked rice, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve hot, optionally pairing with roasted chicken or a simple salad.
  • Spoon over extra rice for a heartier meal.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in the oven at 325°F until warmed through or microwave in short intervals.
