Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1 lb beef steak (e.g., sirloin or ribeye), sliced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 each bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside with the steak.
  • Add more oil if necessary and stir-fry garlic, bell pepper, and broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Return the steak and shrimp to the pan and add the cooked noodles.
  • Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything to combine, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Use high heat and a hot pan to get a quick sear on the steak. Cook steak and shrimp separately for optimal doneness. Ensure noodles are well drained to allow sauce to coat them evenly. Customize with your favorite vegetables such as snap peas or carrots.
