Ingredients
  

For the Jam

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped Use ripe strawberries for the best taste.
  • 1 medium orange, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar Balsamic adds depth and tang.
  • 3/4 cup sugar You can reduce sugar by a quarter, but the jam will be less thick.

For the Whipped Goat Cheese

  • 1/4 cup honey Can be swapped with maple syrup for different sweetness.
  • 8 oz goat cheese, softened Can substitute with cream cheese or ricotta if desired.
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Make the Jam

  • In a saucepan, combine strawberries, orange zest, orange juice, balsamic vinegar, and sugar.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens, about 20-30 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool.

Whip the Goat Cheese

  • In a separate bowl, whip together the goat cheese, honey, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Serve

  • Serve the jam alongside the honey whipped goat cheese.

Notes

Store the jam in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. The whipped goat cheese can be kept in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Chill the jam before serving for a thicker set.
