  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chopped cabbage, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  • Add the sliced kielbasa on top.
  • Sprinkle in the caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour in the chicken broth.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, brown the kielbasa before adding it to the slow cooker. You can also add a splash of apple cider vinegar at the end for a tangy touch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
