  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, optional
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Sliced, optional
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh herbs e.g., thyme or parsley, added at the end

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced onions and cook until they are softened and caramelized.
  • Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Optionally, add sliced bell peppers and minced garlic, cooking until the peppers are tender.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Serve hot from the skillet. Can be enjoyed in a roll, over rice, or with roasted potatoes and a green salad. For best results, store cooled leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
