  • 6 pieces pork sausages Choose your favorite type of sausages.
  • 800 g potatoes Use starchy potatoes like Maris Piper for fluffy mash.
  • 50 g butter For creaminess in the mashed potatoes.
  • 100 ml milk Add more for creamier mashed potatoes.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.

Preparation

  • Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized pieces.
  • Place the potatoes in a pot of salted water and bring to boil.

Cooking Sausages

  • While the potatoes are boiling, heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the pork sausages and fry until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.

Making Mashed Potatoes

  • Once the potatoes are tender, drain them and return to the pot.
  • Add butter and milk, then mash until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve the sausages on top of the mashed potatoes.
  • Add gravy if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the sausages while cooking. Serve with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.
