  • 4 slices Bread (white or whole grain) Choose your preferred type of bread.
  • 200 grams Cooked salmon Use cold cooked salmon for best texture.
  • 1 medium Cucumber slices Thinly slice for even layering.
  • 100 grams Cream cheese or soft cheese Can be swapped with mayonnaise or mustard.
  • 1 small Onion (optional) Add to taste.
  • 2 leaves Lettuce (optional) For added crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (optional) For toasting the sandwich.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spread cream cheese or soft cheese onto one side of a slice of bread.
  • Layer cooked salmon on top of the cheese.
  • Add cucumber slices and onion, if desired.
  • Place another slice of bread on top.
  • Cut into quarters and serve.

Notes

Serve the Salmon and Cucumber Sandwich chilled or at room temperature. Best eaten within 24 hours to avoid soggy bread.
