  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • Melt butter and mix in sugar until smooth.
  • Stir in eggs, food coloring, and vanilla until combined.
  • Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until just combined.

Make Cream Cheese Filling

  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and egg until smooth.

Assemble and Bake

  • Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over it, then top with the remaining brownie batter.
  • Swirl with a knife if desired.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes
