Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup French onion soup divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, and half of the French onion soup. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix until well combined and shape into meatballs.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  • Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and pour the remaining French onion soup over them.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for better flavor. Try adding spices like garlic powder for extra taste. Don’t overcook the meatballs to keep them juicy.
