  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup Adjust for sweetness
  • 1/4 cup Coconut oil Melted
  • 1 cup Oats Rolled oats are preferred
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts Any variety can be used
  • 1 cup Dairy-free chocolate chips For a vegan option, use vegan chocolate

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil until smooth.
  • Stir in oats, vanilla extract, and chopped nuts.
  • Melt chocolate and mix it with the peanut butter mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate until set for about 2 hours, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can freeze them for longer storage. Variations include using almond butter or adding dried fruits.
