  • 4 oz prosciutto Good quality prosciutto enhances flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey Warm the honey slightly for easier drizzling.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  • Layer the prosciutto evenly over the bread, then add the Brie cheese on top.
  • Drizzle hot honey over the Brie.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot.
  • Cut into slices and place on a board for easy sharing.

Notes

Cool completely before storing to avoid soggy bread. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat briefly in the oven to refresh. You can assemble and cover in foil to bake later, with extended bake time.
