Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Marinate the salmon fillets in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, brushing with the marinade as you cook.

Serving

  • Serve the salmon over cooked rice, alongside steamed broccoli, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave, adding a splash of water to keep it moist. Variations include swapping the salmon for shrimp or chicken.
