  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Can use low-sodium if desired.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Garnish with lemon slices and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before marinating for better flavor absorption. For best results, marinate for 30 minutes but no more than 2 hours. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
