  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Ensure even thickness for even cooking
  • 1 cup stuffing mixture e.g., bread crumbs, herbs, and vegetables
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil or melted butter over medium heat.
  • Sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the stuffing mixture with sautéed vegetables, salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the mixture.
  • Place the stuffed chicken in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season with additional salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  • Let rest before serving.

Notes

Serve with a fresh salad or roasted vegetables. For longer storage, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Experiment with different stuffing ingredients like spinach and feta or sausage and apple.
