Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 1 pound steak Any quick-cooking cut like sirloin, ribeye, or flank.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Pat the steak dry before seasoning.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Marinate steak for 30 minutes.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

For the Pasta

  • 8 ounces spaghetti Cook according to package instructions.
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated Save some pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Preparation

  • Season the steak with salt, black pepper, and minced garlic, then marinate in olive oil for 30 minutes.
  • In the meantime, cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak to your preferred doneness, around 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet. Toss with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
  • Slice the steak and serve it alongside the parmesan pasta.

Notes

Serve hot on a large plate, place sliced steak next to or on top of the pasta, and sprinkle extra parmesan and parsley. Add a green salad or steamed vegetables on the side for color and balance. Cool leftovers before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave.
