Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (10 pieces) Any type will work, Country Style used.
  • 20 cubes cheddar cheese Approx 4 oz total.
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut each biscuit in half and slightly roll out (it doesn’t need to be perfectly round).
  • Place a cheese cube in the middle of each biscuit half and wrap the dough around the cheese, ensuring the edges are sealed. Roll in your hands to form a ball.
  • In a small bowl, combine the butter and crushed garlic. Melt in the microwave for about 12 seconds.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the parsley and parmesan cheese.
  • Dip each rolled biscuit into the butter mixture and then into the parmesan mixture. Place on a parchment-lined baking pan.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until just browned.

Notes

Seal edges tight to avoid cheese leaks. Use chilled cheese cubes for cleaner wrapping. Brush with the butter mixture twice for extra garlic flavor. Watch the oven in the last minutes so they don’t overbrown. Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, place them on a tray until firm, then move to a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes for best texture.
