  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Use softened butter for easy spreading.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can substitute with other fresh herbs like rosemary or basil.
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Slice the bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on the cut side of each half.

Baking

  • Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  • For an extra crunchy top, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftover garlic bread wrapped tightly in foil or in an airtight container. It keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days or can be frozen for up to 1 month. Reheat in the oven for best texture. You can also top it with cheese or mix in herbs for extra flavor.
