Preparation

  • Begin by peeling and slicing the potatoes into chips.
  • Rinse the sliced potatoes in cold water and pat dry.

Cooking Chips

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chips until crispy and golden.

Cooking Gammon and Eggs

  • While the chips are cooking, grill or fry the gammon steak to your desired doneness.
  • In another pan, fry the eggs sunny side up or to your liking.

Serving

  • Once everything is cooked, serve the gammon steak alongside the chips and top with a fried egg.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Cool foods quickly and store in the fridge. Keep gammon and chips in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer for best crispness. Do not keep the fried egg more than a day; it loses texture when stored.
