  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin Slice against the grain for tenderness.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or thawed frozen broccoli.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving To serve as a base.

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in the broccoli florets and cook until they are bright green and tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and mix well to coat the beef and broccoli. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For a unique twist, try adding carrots or bell peppers. For more flavor, consider marinating the beef before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
