  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Green onions

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in bell pepper and broccoli, cooking until tender.
  • Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing well.
  • Serve over cooked rice, garnished with green onions.

Notes

Cool quickly and store in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave with a splash of water if rice seems dry. Use hot oil for browning beef and dry veggies for a crisp finish.
