Creamy Seafood Spinach Dip

Ingredients
  

Seafood and Spinach

  • 2.5 cups Chopped Spinach Fresh or thawed for best texture.
  • 0.5 lb Medium Sized Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined Thaw and pat dry if using frozen.
  • 8 oz Crab Use fresh or thawed seafood.

Creamy Base

  • 0.25 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Mayo
  • 1 tbsp Green Onion, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp Old Bay Seasoning Reduce to ¼ tsp for milder taste.
  • 0.25 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp Pepper

Cheese Topping

  • 0.5 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Muenster Cheese, split into ½ for topping

Additional Ingredients

  • 0.33 cup Onion, small diced
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste (or minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and chop.
  • In the same pan, add remaining oil and sauté diced onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted and liquid reduces. Cool slightly.

Mixing

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, green onion, Old Bay, lemon pepper, and pepper until smooth.
  • Stir in cooked spinach, chopped shrimp, and crab. Mix in half of the muenster and all mozzarella.

Baking

  • Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining muenster.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm in a baking dish or a serving bowl. Offer toasted baguette slices, crackers, or pita chips. Garnish with chopped green onion or a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
