Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons melted grass-fed butter Melt butter slowly to avoid browning.
  • 1/2 lemon Juice and zest of half a lemon Adjust to taste for tanginess.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Adjust to taste as needed.
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper Add more for extra heat.
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika Use smoked paprika for a twist.
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped chives
  • 2 teaspoons minced thyme Can substitute with tarragon.
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Adjust heat to preference.
  • to taste none Salt and freshly ground black pepper Taste and adjust seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, add the melted butter and let it cool slightly so it does not cook the herbs.
  • Whisk in lemon juice and zest, then add the minced garlic and Dijon mustard.
  • Stir in cayenne, paprika, parsley, chives, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
  • Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature. If you chill it, let it sit a few minutes at room temp before serving so the butter softens.

Notes

Store the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. If the butter firms, let the sauce sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes or warm gently before using. Use tools like a small whisk or a handheld milk frother for quick mixing.
