  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Soften before mixing for easy incorporation.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with other cheeses.

Meat Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled Make sure to drain well to avoid a greasy dip.
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Drain well to reduce greasiness.

Vegetable Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Use fresh for the best flavor.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Serving Suggestions

  • Optional: tortilla chips or bread for serving Great with chips, sliced baguette, or crackers.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth.
  • Stir in the crumbled sausage, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.

Notes

Cool the dip before storing. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 325°F (160°C) until warm. Can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
