  • 25 oz frozen cheese ravioli Use a good brand for best results.
  • 2 cups marinara sauce A thick marinara works best.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese For a gooey texture.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds flavor to the bake.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Drizzle on top before baking.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil for garnish Optional, for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation and Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom.
  • Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  • Repeat layers with the remaining sauce, ravioli, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Let the dish rest for 5–10 minutes after baking so slices hold together. For a crisp top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end—watch closely.
