For the fries

  • Potatoes Potatoes (for fries) Peel and cut into strips.
  • optional Ketchup For serving.
  • optional Lemon wedges For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Season the cutlets with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Fry the breaded cutlets in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • For the fries, peel and cut potatoes into strips, then fry in the same oil until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve hot so the crust stays crisp and the fries are warm.
  • Place lemon wedges on the side and offer ketchup or a simple salad.
  • You can slice the cutlets and plate them over fries for a casual meal.

Notes

Pat cutlets dry to help the coating stick. Use three bowls for easy dredging. Fry at medium heat to cook the meat thoroughly without burning the crust. Thin fries crisp faster; thicker fries offer a softer center. To reheat, use the oven or air fryer to maintain crispness.
