Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced Slice against the grain for tenderness.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Cut into even pieces for uniform cooking.
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced Use your choice of mushrooms.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated

Sauces and Oils

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For frying.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season as desired.

Cooking Steps

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
  • Add broccoli florets and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 4–5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Return beef to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir quickly to combine and heat through.
  • Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
