Ingredients
  

For the Toast

  • 4 slices Bread (for toasting) Use thick bread to hold toppings without getting soggy.
  • 1 can Canned beans (e.g., kidney beans or baked beans) Warm gently; do not boil.

For the Topping

  • 1 can Canned tuna Mix with prawns for added protein.
  • 100 grams Prawns You can swap prawns for cooked salmon or more tuna.
  • 100 grams Cheese (e.g., cheddar or feta) Add slices of cheese on top and let melt.
  • 1 large Egg Fry until desired doneness; a hot pan helps achieve a runny yolk.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or oil For frying the egg.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Use to season tuna and prawns mixture.

Preparation and Cooking

  • Toast the bread until golden brown.
  • In a pan, heat the canned beans until warm.
  • In another pan, fry the egg in butter or oil until the desired doneness.
  • In a bowl, mix the canned tuna and prawns together, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • On each slice of toast, layer the warm beans, then top with the tuna and prawn mixture.
  • Add slices of cheese on top and let it melt slightly.
  • Finally, place the fried egg on top of the assembled toast.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days without the egg on top. Reheat beans and toppings in a pan and fry a fresh egg before serving.
