  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Consider adding nutmeg for warmth.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • In an Instant Pot, combine steel cut oats, water or milk, mashed bananas, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes before opening the lid.
  • Stir to combine and serve warm, topped with additional banana slices or nuts if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-5 days. Reheat with a splash of water or milk to restore creaminess. Can be frozen in airtight containers for up to 3 months.
