  • 4 pieces skinless, boneless chicken breast halves Pat dry before dipping.
  • 1 cup ranch-style salad dressing Use spicy ranch for extra heat.
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs Panko can be used for extra crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For greasing the baking sheet.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
  • Put bread crumbs and ranch dressing into separate bowls.
  • Dip chicken into ranch dressing and press into bread crumbs to coat. Gently toss between your hands to remove excess crumbs.
  • Arrange the coated chicken onto the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 30 minutes.
  • An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165°F (74°C).

Notes

Serve with simple sides like steamed veggies or warm soup. Cool the chicken to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Pat chicken dry before dipping to help crumbs stick.
