  • 1 wheel Brie cheese Use a ripe-quality wheel for better texture.
  • 1/2 cup dried figs, chopped Ripe figs yield better flavor.
  • 1/4 cup honey Can substitute with maple syrup for vegan option.
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans Chop small for better mixing.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped Optional, but adds flavor.
  • 1 baguette or crackers for serving Choose to serve with sliced baguette or crackers.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped figs, honey, chopped pecans, and rosemary (if using).
  • Spoon the fig mixture on top of the Brie.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and melty.
  • Serve warm with sliced baguette or crackers.

Notes

Cool the baked brie to room temperature before storing. Refrigerate and consume within 2-3 days. Gently reheat in a low oven to soften before serving.
